Basic Medical Terminology for Mental Health
This introductory course is similar to Basic Medical Terminology with the emphasis on words used in mental health.  It is conducted by distance learning using a workbook and Cd with phone and email contact with the trainer.  Successful participants will receive a Statement of Attainment from Certificate II Business BSB20201: Use Basic Medical Terminology. Course begins on receipt of Learning Kit.

Advanced Medical Report Typing
This course is by distance learning using a workbook and audio CD with phone and email contact available with the trainer.  The course concentrates on practising typing medical reports with a variety of medical terminology and accents included.  Successful participants will receive five Statements of Attainment from Certificate III in Business BSB30101:, BSBCMN318A Write Simple Documents, BSBCMN306A Produce Business Documents, BSBADM303A Produce Text From Audio Transcription, BSBCMN315A Work Effectively With Diversity and BSBCMN302A Organise Work Priorities and Development.  It is recommended that a medical terminology course be taken prior to this course, although a glossary is provided.  Computer access is essential.  Course begins on receipt of Learning Kit.

This course is suitable for anyone joining the workforce for the first time, or rejoining after quite a break. The successful participant will receive a Certificate I in Business BSB10101: BSBCMN104A Plan Skills Development, BSBCMN101A Prepare for work, BSBCMN102A Complete Daily Work Activities, BSBCMN103A Apply Basic Communication Skills, BSBCMN105A Use Business Equipment, BSBCMN106A Follow Workplace Safety Procedures, and BSBCMN109A Follow Environmental Work Practices NB: Only six out of a possible nine units are required for a Certificate I (seven units are in the course above, BSBCMN106A is mandatory).
